Areas & Approach

Every therapist has an approach they believe in. This is what I believe in.

Although I am open to all inquiries, my specialties below are things I have trainings and experience with. I offer compassionate, client-centered approaches and view therapy as a collaborative process.

What you’ll get

  • Transparent

Therapy should not be a mystery. I want you to be informed about the therapeutic process, how change happens, and the “why” behind why we explore what we explore.

  • Somatic

Our bodies tell our brain what to think; they are a doorway to what has happened to us. I take a bottom-up approach to strengthen the mind-body connection. This can help us move through emotions and gain clarity.

  • Relational

Relationships shape who we are. Our emotional bonds with others empower us and/or leave us feeling powerless. We will explore how relationships have impacted your brain and your body, as well as your relationship with your Self.

  • Experiential

Healing happens through experiences. In this space, I will participate in somatic techniques and coping skills with you to fire and rewire your nervous system. This helps our bodies learn how to feel safe.

  • Storytelling

Humans think in stories. Often we seek therapy when stories don’t make sense. Creating space to tell your story with an attuned audience (me) will help you name and notice what has happened.

  • Trauma-Informed

Trauma is a common, painful experience. I seek to keep this a safe space by insightful pacing during processing, providing education on the impact and nature of trauma, and being attuned with my clients during session.
